I've figured out that Texas style Red Shad worm fishing is the best way to catch a bass. It has caught me a lot of bass and I feel that I should let everyone else that are in to bass fishing like me know.
Thanks a lot, Matt Davis |

Matt, It ain't no secret on this board, our very own Bassin Tom has been preaching the red shad worm here long before I have been posting here. He seemed to have assembled quite a following on his belief.I prefer a red shad colored jig just because I know what he has preached is the truth, but I can't get myself to fish a worm so I go with what I know a red shad jig. ;D P N J

MATT,
Gee Whiz, all of us poor unknowing fishermen really want to thank you for that tip. Red Shad worms, whooda thunk it. I don't know how many years we would have floundered around trying this bait and that bait without any results if you had not let us in on your professional secret. Again, we salute you!!! |

You say RED SHAD. Now will that work only for worms and jigs. Or will a red shad spinner, crank or buzz be good also? Ill definately pass this on to friends and loved ones. ;D 8)

Try red shad w/green flakes. You may be surprised.
Thats about all that I use as far as worms go. Thats a secret except for the thousands of people who read this page. One thing is that we all have our confidence baits. |

Hey guys,
I have found that a black and blue 1/2 jig with a blue craw trailer works best for me. That and a grape color 7 and 1/2 inch ribbon tail worm. Chad |
