Default Lost my father

Man what a tough time. Lost my mother on Christmas 09, my little sister took her own life a few months after and my Father passed away Sunday very unexpected. He went in piece and comfort at least unlike my mother but man way too many family loses in one year.

Times are so tough all over just need a break from all the grief but I guess that would be selfish.

I was just with him last week and everything was fine. They said Saturday he felt tired but we fished more than normal while I was there. We found some baby tarpons on Friday AM that kicked our butts but other than that completely normal. He even drove the truck and boat to the ramp. Just really sucks.

With the loses on this board and all around just seems like inscribable amounts of human loss’s, economy victims etc. Man we need a break…

Sorry to hear that, Vegas. I really have no words of wisdom to make it better. I'm not sure that's possible. But hang in there, and don't waste your time keeping anything in. It's going to come out, sooner or later.

Don't feel selfish for wishing you had a reprieve, man. You've had to deal with more in a short period than most people ever will (thankfully).

I think I'm going to give my Mom a big hug this weekend when I see her.

vegas.....i understand how oyu feel although i haven't lost any blood family as of yet. this has been an aweful year to say the least. but please take heart the everyone here on this site is praying WITH and FOR YOU MY FRIEND. the LORD has his reasons and it isn't our place to ask why, and like it was said before, he only gives you what oyu can handle. this life is about tests, each day we are given a test. wheather we pass or fail, it is our decision to make. we can have faith in HIM or not. i personally choose HIM. and don't ask why. lisa and i are praying for you my friend. have faith brother.

sorry for your loss, GODSPEED to your father as he takes his place beside our LORD.

There really is nothing I can say that will help you to feel better, though I wish I could. The pain your going through is just plain sad. It's bad enough to loose a loved one, and yet you've lost three. My prayers will be with you. In time, comfort will come, and although you will never get over the loss, with help from others, prayers and your faith, God will help to make the pain bearable. I don't believe God causes bad things to happen. He however is there to hold us when we just want to fall into our tears. And I know he was there for your family members when they passed on. Your right, this world needs a break. And when the Lord returns for his bride, we will recieve it.

I am very sorry for your loss. At least it sounds like he went easily as so many (like my dad) do not. There are no words I could possibly write here that make this time any easier. Just know that there are many that have sympathy for you in this difficult time.

Sorry to hear that man, hang in there though, everything'll get better I'm sure. It's always darkest just before dawn, remember that and you'll be fine man. Praying for you!

Hang in there man, it'll take a while, but it will get better.
