Default Need prayers guys..

Hey guys, I've kinda been pretty quiet about this the last year or so, but, I suppose now if the best time to say something, so here goes.

So here's the deal. My dad's unemployed, my mom works at the deli making not enough to make it. We've been living with my grandma/dads mom that last 2, or 3 years. The house has been in short-sale the last few months and it's now sold, we have until the 20TH OF THIS MONTH to get out. We have no clue (my family minus my grandma, she's got a place in WI all figured.) where we will be living in 3 weeks, unless something miraculous happens, we will be living in the woods. We've barley got enough money to hold onto the truck right now, and probably 90% of my moms pays check does to it. But miracles can happen. Me and my older brother will probably have to get jobs to help out with whatever... don't worry, we WILL NOT drop out of school, their's no way my dad would let that ever happen. Hopefully I'll be able to crash at a friends place for a while.... So if you guys could pray for us and my dad to get some kind of job ANY job, and for an affordable house to come our way. This may be the last you hear from me for a while until the 20th, I'll try to get on as much as possible after then, at the local library or something, at at school.

Thanks you so much guys, you're like family.

Sammy, life can get very difficult and it becomes very hard to remember what you do have and worry less about what you don't have. You have a great family, good friends, and your health. I truly believe these times will pass for you. Be strong for you parents and help if you can, God Bless you and I will be thinking of you!

Sammy, you know I always want good things for you, buddy.

You might not believe it, but there are some scary parallels between your current situation and my childhood. Scary.

I wish I could help you, man. Hang in there.

Hate to hear that things are not going good for you guys right now. Hang in there and remember you still have family. Many years ago my father told me that no matter how bad I thought things were in my life, I did not have to look far to see someone else who had it a lot tougher than me. I will be fifty this year and that statement has been true all my life and I have lived some very good and extremely bad times. My thoughts are with you and things generally work themselves out if you give it time.
PS: This has also been passed to my sons who are 16 & 15.

(Real bulldogs) But now I see why and would not trade them for anything. Hope to meet most of em and fish thier tourn one of these days. Maybe you and I can team up for a tourn next year.

Y'all, I sure think the prayers are working!!

My ma just came home a while a go from work, and she found out about some some affordable housing north of here a little ways the next county over. I didn't get all the details, but her dad seemed pretty happy!

Vegas, thanks man, that would be great next year if everything goes good!

Bassboss, I'm very sorry your family has fallen on hard times. The economy has made it especially hard for a lot of folks. The company I work for has downsized by about 50% and I have only recently turned my office light back on and crawled out from under my desk.

Hang in there and don't for one second consider quitting school - you'll need that diploma. Do what you can to support your family emotionally - it's times like these that test our true grit and nothing's more important than family.

Thanks again guys, I think things are looking up! Yesterday we had a guy that I met a while back, at church, come to the garage sale. We got to talking (him, me, and my mom), and he said that if we don't find a place he's got a 2 bed 2 bath ready to go that we could stay at free of charge for a while, until we found a place of out own.
