Default Finally Cashed a Check!!

Well, it finally happened. My partner and I finished in 5th place at the BASS Federation Classic on Lake St. Clair. It was his first time to cash in this series as well (we've both cashed in other tournaments). But this one had 24 boats and a body of water neither of us know. We fished the river dragging tubes. A lot of fun drifting in 30-40 feet of water hoping to dumb into some fish. Well it worked!! We finished with 17.2 pounds (we thought we had around 15ish!!) Oh, and I did manage to break yet another Quantum PT Superlite rod!! Here is one from practice....

Congrats dude... it feels great cashing a check and having a heck of a day fishing!

Just curious, how do you keep breaking these Superlite Rods? I know they have a lifetime warranty, so you should be covered anyway.

Thanks Ryan and lash.

I have no idea how/why they break. I was pulling line through to re-tie and the tip just snapped off. I had a loose drag and then snap! I guess I put too much pressure on it when trying to break off a snags. But your guess is as good as mine.

Wow! That has got to suck. At least you are backed by the lifetime warranty.
