well, we ALL are gonna be stuffed tomorrow i know. so if you would, tell us what you and your family is having for the feast tomorrow. or if you look at this tomorrow (after your nap and the game you will watch) tell us what you had.
me? well of course we will have turkey, mashed taters, dressing and jiblet gravy, creamed corn, peas and buterbeans, turnip greens (hate it,lol),sweet tater caserole(hate it,lol), german chocolate cake(hate it too, lol), white cake with chocolate fudge icing, praliens, pecan pie,and maybe a few more things. not sure what else sense the others haven't said what they are bringing. and as of this minute i am smoking a boston butt for the rest of the weekend. i started at 5 pm central time and will smoke it till around midnight, then lisa will take it and put it in the oven for the remainder of the night to make it tender. THEN she will pull off some of the meat and put it in the crock pot with b-b-q sauce and simmer it some more. it will NOT be over cooked i promise. we have done this before and it was great. however this is a rather large butt..bout 10 pounds and not all of it will fit in the crock pot (YEA!!). i like to eat it right off the bone without the sauce mostly so i am gonna be good to go. i'll eat it while watching the game friday. IRON BOWL TIME!!! hahaha. so com'on gang, let us all know what ya'lls feast will intail. i am getting HUNGRY just THINKING about tomorrow. fasting tonight so i gots LOTS of room tomorrow. oh yeah, some of you already know about the BUCK i got this morning, lol. bagged my first one in over 20 years and didn't fire a shot. matter of fact I didn't even kill it. i was behind a lady ont he way to work this morning and SHE hit the little 4 pointer with her car. sent pics to some of you guys. maybe one will post it up. father in law came and got and took it to the processer. broken neck and nothing inside messed up. SWEET!!! got meat now. hahaha. mostly for th ebrothers in laws. i might eat some of it. breakfast sausage or stew. strange how a 3200 pound bullit going 65 mph can kill a deer huh? BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Well since Lake is sick we will probably stay at home and pass on the family dinners we had planned. Britney mentioned biscuits and gravy for breakfast, but not much planned beyond that. May settle for some hotdogs and a pinch of Skoal.

Turkey, whipped sweet potatoes (straight from AL), green beans (also from AL), cornbread dressing, whipped taters, cranberry jelly, and pumpkin pie. we've also got regular stuffing for those who don't like the cornbread (more for me!)

We'll have the normal Thanksgiving dinner (twice). Ham, turkey, veggies, rolls, deserts. Fixed in different ways like twice baked bake potato, 4 cheese macroni in a slow cooker, (my favorite) tomato pudding. But whatever we have I promise you guys it will be piled high and my spoon will look like a steam engine. Well guys I gotta go warmup. See ya later

Michelle is working later today so were staying home, just the 4 of us. We have cinibun rolls this morning. Then for dinner at noon we'll be enjoying turkey, my famous sweet potatos, mashed totors, corn and peas, stuffin, cranberry sauce, turkey gravey, dinner rolls, and a pumkin roll. Thankyou God for the blessings of this day and every day! One note worth mentioning. Last Thanksgiving, I received a phone call from Zooker and we had a nice long chat and shared many laughs. I'm gonna miss him today. So to you Zooker, enjoy your day today at Gods table. And to Zookers family, God bless.
