I think it's a joke that Oklahoma is ranked 7th and is playing an unranked UCONN team the Fiesta Bowl. I wonder how much money Big Game Bob had to spend in bribes so he would have a chance to win a bowl game.

They are trying but they just arent good enough to stay in a game like this. So many teams could have given better games, including LSU, A&M, Boise st, heck Mich st would be better.

Yeah I am a Texas fan but that has nothing to do with my feelings on the subject. Texas was an emberassment this year, I will be the first to admit it but the fact remains that this matchup is just pathetic.

here is the real killer. Take Oklahoma completely out of the equation. How does an unranked team get into a BCS bowl game?!?!? This is one of the top 4 bowl games in to country. Being ranked should be requirement number 1 to qualify for a BCS bowl game...seriously

I agree. There is no reason for an unranked team to play in a BCS Bowl game, especially a bowl game as big as the Fiesta Bowl.

UConn won the Big East conference which earned them an automatic bid into the game would be my guess. Just like Pac 10 teams in the Rose Bowl every year unless they are in the Championship like Oregon is this year.

I understand that, and your right. But I think they should pay more attention to the match ups in bowl games than who won what conference.

aren't there around 160 division I teams in college football? and there are 35 BOWL GMAES. now how in the world can they get the REST of the schools in a bowl game? LMAO!!! STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES. TOO MANY BOWL GAMES, most are without meaning except for the greed of the almighty dollar.

Ok, here is an idea. Colleges now have bass fishin teams that compete like any other sport. How about a few bass fishin bowls? They can have the first one in Johns back yard, call it the Guntersville Bowl. And we can all make an annual trip to all meet there for the weekend. Hmmmm, I should send the NCAA a letter about that one.
