It's really getting good here in Florida. Skipped school and went out yesterday and caught about 15 good fish. 6 lb. test Deadsticking Flukes, senkos, and trick worms caught a bigger one. The other big fish was caught with 16lb.Shooter fluoro and a Zoom Magnum Fluke with a 7/0 owner hook. The bigger two fish were about 5 lbs. The rest were caught on Spro Little John MD, Lucky Craft Pointer, and Sebile Magic Swimmer. I caught one big fish on a bed a found previously, and the other was simply blind casting. They have been sitting in that magic 8-13 feet of water. Im really ready for that water to heat up just a little bit more. Anyone want to come fishin?

Sounds like fun, I am pumped up about this spring. I can't remember the last time I caught a bass. Water's soft here, but I just can't handle the 25 degree wind chill like we have this morning. You FL guys are lucky

I am glad you are catching some fish. My tourney season kicks off in about a month and I am going nuts. This is the first year that I didn't fish through the winter and I am so ready to get back on the water.

It was 70 here yesterday and only 40 today. I went out last weekend. It was cold, and we got skunked. Our 1st tourney is in 2 weeks. I sure hope it heats up. It timesmlike these I still wish I lived in Altamonte Springs, Fl
