Team Diawa Guys
I have a few Team Diawa rods that are probably 15 years old. I started cataloging all my gear and I am not sure what the TD rods are telling me. I have four rods...........they are:
TD-701-4RB (jig/worm) TD-601-4FB (Spinnerbait) TD-601-4RB (worm) TD-601-3RB (topwater/twitchin) The TD is Team Diawa. The 70 or 60 is 7ft and 6ft. From there, I am not certain what the code is telling me. Any ideas? Tony |

Not a daiwa guy but from what I see on their website it goes like this
The numbers are power 3=medium 4=medium/heavy 5=heavy and the R & F is action This is a gues on what they mean but i would think R=regular action F=Fast action Here is a section from their website

Gottafish is correct.
The number is the power. A lot of brands use a number system, like Lamiglas, G Loomis, Dobyns, etc. Just becareful because all brands vary slightly in which number they designate as which power. The R, or regular action, is more moderate than a Fast Action rod. on a worm and jig rod, I'd assume this would be like a MF action. BB

Looks like the 1 in 701 or 601 probably refers to if it is a 1 or 2 piece rod.
