Default Ice Storm 2011 (Pics!)

Finally had a chance to get out and take some pics.

Neighbor's tree, that is usually straight!

A small tree in our backyard.

Limb of a pine tree.

And the handle on my tailgate. It's one solid piece of ice and I can't get even get my hand in there to open it up.

More pics to came later.

Those pictures bring back nightmare memories of 2 years ago. I hope that there is not the power outages in your area like it was here!

There were some power outages around here, and some people still don't have power back. Luckily, we didn't lose power though.

Everyone here lost power for at least 2 days. We were without power for 10 days and some people were in a lot worse shape with not having power for 22 days. There were several homes destroyed because trees fell due to the weight of the ice. I hope and pray that I never see anything like that again!

I am glad that you are doing ok.

Good pics Anthony. We had big ice storms two years in a row, luckily we dodged the bullet this winter though.

I haven't seen anything like that since I was 7 or 8 years old. I remember my dad sprayed a group of trees down with water after the storm and it froze on contact. He kept building it up and I pretended I was Superman at his home with the ice crystals hahahaha.

None actually. You tend to be careful on the ice when you're holding an expensive camera and lens.
