Default LC, H2O, Luck E Strike Comparison Pics

Just had a few of the new Luck E Strike RC cranks dropped off, decided to post a few pictures of a Luck E Strike, Lucky Craft RC, and a H2O CRS each next to each other. I have always been a die hard LC RC 1.5 fan and very loyal to keeping that as my favorite square bill.

However, I never thought I'd say this, but the new Luck E Strike cranks may give LC RC 1.5 a run for its money in my tacklebox. Assuming they fish as good as they look.

Very interesting! Have you goten a chance to fish any of them yet, or tank test 'em? If so how do the actions compare? What about rattles, do they sound similar?

Very cool. When I get my photography stuff set back up, I'll be getting some comparison shots too. I just need to get one of the new LES baits. I'll also have one of the new XCalibur cranks.

I haven't had a chance to fish the Luck E Strike crank just yet. The H2O CRS and LC RC 1.5 have similar action though.

The H2O has a deep rattle sound, the LC RC 1.5 is available in both silent and with rattles, and the LES RC cranks are silent.

The H20 ive used a lot,lc as well, the strike king only last year.
Many of the look alikes work just as well, and are a lot cheaper.
Chinese are now getting in on the act with reef runner,sk and live pointer copies, available in a lot less colors and sizes but work.
Going to try the live pointer version, just got one for 6 bucks-4 3/4 in.They call it a top jointed knobby.
Dont have a live 110 lc pointer to do a side by side, slightly larger than a lc 110 live pointer and not available in lots of colors.

Marc,

Great post!!! Since I am a crankbait fan, I have been wondering about the difference between the original RC and new RC (RC2). Now how does the H2O bait fit into the picture?

Thanks much for the great pics.

Thanks! I really can't wait to fish the new RC2. Hopefully will have a chance in the next couple of weeks and will report on the action.

I threw the H2O CRS in there so people will see that they aren't made in the same molds as the LC RC 1.5. Also, so guys up North can have a better look of what a CRS looks like before they order off of ebay or elsewhere.

Looks like they are in flight formation and ready for battle. Thanks for the pics Marc. Have you been burning anything up around the coast lately?

Actually, today was my first real outing of the year. Went out on the Tchoutacaboufffa during midday for a few hours and it was prettly slow. Ended up with 6 and unfortunately a sunburn. It will probably be my last trip for a while, seems like there just aren't enough hours in a day.
