Forget the color. The key is to cut open the side of the package and let them harden up just slightly overnight. Then they are ready to be eaten.

Another one of those foods better stale hahahaha. I am with you W2BF. My favorite Easter candy is the Cadberry caramel eggs. I could eat a baker's dozen and crap like a pet coon for 3 days. But it is worth it for the short season.
