Default Grand Lake get together

Bring the rain gear!!! We have been getting a crazy amount of rain the last few weeks and it looks like it's supposed to continue at least to the middle of next week then it might be a little more hit and miss about the time we show up.

I just talked to a friend thats in Grove now. They got soaked. We are dry as a bone here in wichita, send some this way. Oh well, guess that means the lake will be up and murky. Flooded willows and scattered bass.

I have been watching the lake level and they are pulling a lot of water, but it's up to 743 now so there might be some willows to flip if they don't get it pulled back down.

I've been looking for an excuse to get some rain gear, guess this is as good of one as any.

Or you could just bring some good weather with you when you come.

Unfortunately, we're entering our 3rd week of stormy, rainy weather too.

The Wunder says the weather will be alright, but I don't think that will help the water stain.

Grand is a heavily stained lake anyways. there are certain times of the year when the water will clear up and be lightly stained to clear, but most of the time it's stained to muddy.

That's good to know, it will help with figuring out what colors to bring.
