I fish for several reason really. The chance to leave behind lifes issues if just for a few hours is good for the blood pressure, lol. But what I am hooked on is the challenge. Can I go out and figure out what it's going to take to track down the bass and get them to strike consistantly. Thats my driving forse. Otherwise, it's also just enjoying the great outdoors and all it has to offer.

Scott. I'm sure you'll get as many reasons as there are registered users and then some, here are a few of mine, in no particular order.
* I Love being on the water
* I Love watching the sunrise
* I Love watching the sunset
* I Love the solitude
* I Love the anticipation
* I Love the feeling of the primevil spirit in me working
* I Love solving problems
* I Love knowing that I will NEVER EVER solve them all
* I Love the fact that after 40 yrs I still can't sleep good the night before a trip
* I Love the smell of new line in the morning
* I Love slow rolling a spinnerbait through a shallow stump field in May
* I Love gurgling a buzzbait over the milfoil at sunrise when the fogs too thick to see it
* I Love the tap-tap-pull of fat summer Bass eating my worm right on cue
* I Love it when another good-un inhales my senko before it ever hits bottom
* I Love it when I think I've set the hook on a stump and then it swims off
* I Love feeling the weather changes on my face instead of the Weather Channel

kennethdaysale, eveything you said is so true, honestly I can't really tell why I'm fishing, but I do love solitude, and for sure a way to release the stress from work or school..
