For years I've been doing my Black Friday shopping early, like a week early. Anyway here's my system.
Most retailers now have 15 day, 30 day price quarntees. This means if it goes on sale cheaper within stated time frame you get discounted or new lower price.
Just got back from Gander, bought $112 of supplies last week. Today due to sale they gave me a store credit of $61, There were no crowds, 4 other customers in store, I got pick of the litter (no limited supply door buster crap), colors I wanted and no-one, I mean no-one to bother me.
Another un-advertised heads up, Gander knocks another 50% off RED TAG merchandise all weekend. That means Dingers for $1.50, Lakefork plastics for $1.50 and more.
Just thoght I'd share.
Hey you may want to consider who you tell this to because with Facebook and chat rooms and all that crap, secrets don't stay secret for long. And you know what happens once corprate gets wind of it, system over!

A year or so ago I would have been running down to our local Gander, but this past spring they cut the fishing department by about 35% of what it once was. Still might take a peek.

Kieth, mine too. Only here it got cut in half and replaced with shoes,socks and clothing. And to add to it I live in a river town population, 50,000. That dollar amount was all on plastics...they really don't have much more.

Just got back from Gander.. Bought 5 bags of Horny Toads a buck each. Also a 6ft med. St Croix Premier rod for $44.00. Plan on using it as a close quarter rod.
