Default My nephew

My nephew is a chicken farmer who happens to throw a 92mph fastball and a great curve got his 1st win in his 1st appearence ( in relief ) in college today. Pitched 4 innings and had 5 k's. Strong showing for a freshman.

That's awesome Ron. Is he left handed by chance?

Awesome! Love playing base ball! Our pitcher last year was throwing a fast ball pretty close to 90 last year, but not over it. Hope he does well through-out his carrier!

I would hate to be on the business end of an egg throw! Must be something in the fertilizer. Congrats to him and good luck on the season.

Man thats really a good game and great way to start the season..
To put thinks in perspective, try and make a curve while driving the boat to the landing at 92. Better yet, without the boat!
To be put in as a relief as a freshman in the opening game tells a lot about the confidence the coaching staff has.
So did he get a save credit?
I look forward to being updated..frequently.

Oh, you may want to tell him...the money in chickens is really in 'SHELTERING' them!

Great pic, Ron! Tell him congrats on his great first outing and continued good luck. Keep us posted on his outings. Where is he going to college? I pitched for 4 years at a Division III school in Iowa back in the 80s, but I was/am only 5'7", so I was lucky to ever touch 80 mph and could only dream of 90. Maybe my user name should be "junkballer" instead of "WatterBoy".
