Not movies, I could care less. But this is a great aquarium fish. I've had them grow to 14". Stopped keeping them though, goldfish got to expensive and keeping a tank just for feeders got to be too much of a pain-in-da-butt.

Used to have a big ol one in a tank too. Fed em lizards n frogs !

We'd also catch skeeter fish in a net around the ponds and feed em that way too!

Blast to watch em!

Oscars are also tasty.

If a fish is going to be invasive, it ought to at least be good fried.

Just curious Bruce. Did you use your oscar to try out your chatterbaits?

These bad boys are on my list of species I really want to catch from their natural habitat in the Pantanâl region of my wife's native country, Brasil. They're actually pretty close to the bottom of the food chain down there...
