Default Sunday Night Fish Fry

Hey guys, I know I haven't been on much lately and I've received a few PMs from some of the regulars checking in. Everything is good, just busy. Hardly had any time to fish, and been very busy working at my dad's shop prepping and finishing doors and trim for a big job. We stopped working 9-12 hours days 6-7 days a week towards the end of June, but the job is wrapping up now, so hopefully we'll have some more fishing time.

So kind of in celebration, we figured it was time for a fish fry. All of these fish and other seafoods were "caught" at our local fish monger.

We started off the evening with an appetizer of hand battered onion rings and lightly breaded calamari.

Next came the main course consisting of fresh Lake Erie Yellow Perch (one of, if not THE best freshwater eatin' fish), frog legs, our BF.com Member Event Famous "Shut-up-dawgs," and more onion rings.

Of course, there was southern style coleslaw and plenty of lemon wedges to go around.

BB

Why did you also feel the need to text me those pics? Especially when I'm at least an hour from home and any possibility of food? You suck......
But it looks dang good.

It was just a sneak peak. You're lucky you only got one pic, I was gonna send out more.

Who's Andrew? Have one to many beers tonight Kieth?

Overcooked frog legs are awful. This was my first time cooking them and they turned out quite well.

As for the shut-up-dogs, you can ask John about that one.
