I have the strongest suspicion that the person(or persons) responsible for all this crap is someone we all know. Someone that despite(or because of) being despised by the majority of us, wants to be as disruptive as possible. The kind of person that would key your new car. The kind of person that would then pour sugar in the tank after you'd repainted it.

I have decided to not log on here for 30 days in hopes that the owner will show up and do the right thing. If not then I vote we start our own site, charge a small fee and pay 2 or 3 guys a fair stipend to moderate the Hell out of it. Good Luck yall

The only thing that bothers me is it's a SIMPLE 2 min fix.
There's four people on home page list, a young lady who my understanding is the go to for technical details, no responses from anyone.
With all the technoligy today I'm sorry but no one getting return message on any form of tried communication, is unecceptable to me.
Guess what I get busy too, if I get overloaded I HIRE someone to help out when and as needed or I get out of my business!

Now my understanding is, if someone contacts vBulletin with ANY attemt to make changes, they are denied BUT the site owner IS notified that someone attemted or requested a change...kind of a heads up type of thing.

So.............?

Clearing out crap from JUNKASS one at a time is as enjoyable as clearing vegation from cranks thrown in shallow grass before every cast.....soon you tire of it and use something more suited and less troublesome never to go back till the new option doesn't produce.
Sorry to say, I'm checking my tackle box to find an alternative option.
I come here for advice and to clear the 'weeds' and yes to smile and laugh.
I have to rethink going to a site that bombards you with more weeds daily, JUNKASS, and then seems to get all participants in a 'sour' mood at the start of the visit.
And to attract new people...?... my page preview shows almost nothing but a bunch of CRAP in jap , chinese, korean whatever the trash is sorry if offended anyone except my target, JUNKASS! Ya I know the ****heads using machines and computer but .....I'm clearing WEEDS.

Man I feel better already!

Maybe the tacklebox can wait.....

Get someone's phone number or email address or Facebook page or something Ken. I have my doubts about whether any of this will be here in 30 days.

As far the first part of your post, I agree completely. That scenario wouldn't surprise me at all. The problem is now there is no one to stop it, before, this never would have happened.

I'm sure I am overreacting and there is a logical explanation for all this. It's better to be safe than sorry though. We have a pretty awesome thing here and I would hate to lose it.

If it comes down to it, you're all (almost all) more than welcome to just pack up and move on over to the BassChat forum. Many of the regulars here are already members because we use (or used to use) the chat room quite often.

No fees or anything like that, but there will be and already are moderators (members of this site we already know, as well as myself). I think I speak on behalf of us when I say we are glad to do it without compensation. Also, I will gladly add more mods if the forum grows to the point of needing them.

And bumping threads, while it keeps the home page looking nice, is no solution. A bunch of threads where half the posts aren't relevant to the discussion might as well be spam.

Maybe KDS is right. Give it "X" amount of days and see if anything improves. Maybe Bcklash's contact will get with the moderator or he will just show up?
