Anybody from Greenville?? I'm going to be making a business trip next Tues to Weds and thought I'd see who's from that area. Maybe someone can tell me the best place to stay? Or where to avoid? Where's the best local restaurant? I prefer to eat local over chain places. And most importantly where's the best tackle shop!!!!
![]() Thanks. |

I was there last month while working in Easley. I normally stay close to work but decided to stay in Greenville this time. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express downtown and it was fine, I would suggest staying close to downtown. There is a really nice downtown area for walking around and I liked walking down to the falls and Liberty Bridge. I ate at Henry's Smokehouse and would suggest it. Not fancy, but the food was really good.

Those prices on that menu look like they are from 30 years ago. Ribs are over $20 a rack around here. Fourteen and change is unbelievable.
