I fished Friday afternoon for about 2 hours and managed to catch a 14 incher and one keeper that was 16 inches. The 14 came on a white fluke on riprap and the the 16 incher came on a tube on riprap.
Sunday afternoon I fished the back of a arm around grass beds with a fluke and rattletrap and didn't get crap but a guy in a boat got a 14 incher or so on a worm. Then I went back to the riprap that I got fish on the other day and I got a 17 incher right off the bat on a tube and then I got a 15 inch keeper on a rattle trap and a little 10 incher. Monday I fished the Blue Springs Lake Dam area by the boat ramp there and Â*fished a white fluke around the grass beds and ripped a rattletrap through them and then I fished a Â*tube all throught there without a strike. Then I went and fished the Dam area of Lake Jacomo and I threw a rattletrap and got a 8 incher and then I fished a strait tail watermelon worm and got a 14 incher. All in all the fishing was pretty slow for me from the bank. I should have rented a boat. The water was clear and by the dam on Sunday I saw a guy get one on a topwater and a girl get one on a crank but it got off. I think the fish were deeper than I was fishing and I was not able to make the best presentations by fishing from the bank. Â* ![]() We won all three baseball games then we couldn't finish up the championship game because it got rained out. ??? ??? ??? |
