Well, the heat is on here in Texas. MERCY! Where did the Cool go! The full moon just pasted and the night fishing was good and still doing good. The day fishing has been good. The best bite has been in the deep water. Carolina and Texas rigs have been good out on the humps, points and road beds. The Texas rig with 7 to 10inch worms have been very good. I have started the mornings with some top water but the wacky worm has been good to 7 pounds for me. The Texas and Carolina rig fished shallow in 8 to 10 foot with baby brush hogs very early has been good. The drop shot is staying rigged every day just incase. Spinner baits and lipless crank baits have been good early and on some of the windy days. Your electronics will be your best friend for finding the fish out deep. The storm swim bait is a good bait for the suspended fish. Count it down and swim it through the fish.
Half day fishing trips have been all my customers could stand. I have been going to another lake sand bass fishing and have had some good mornings. If you just wont a get away and do something else this may be and opening for you. Give me a call. Jim Reaneau 1-888-918-5088 |
