![]() ![]() The afternoon bite is primarily deep water. Big crank baits, Spinner baits, Storm wild eyes, and jigs fished out over the deep structure are productive. Use your electronics to find the humps and then look for the fish. Drop a marker and back off and throw to them. Remember don’t put your marker where the fish are throw it out away from them and use it to stay close. If you put the marker on the fish when you catch one you will usually tangle in it and move the marker. Now you will have to relocate the fish. The crappie are still running small but plentiful.
