Mean Gene the Fishing Machine

Me and my middle boy, one of his buds, and his dad got a chance to hit the water a couple of weeks ago. While the wind shut us down later, it wasn't hindering us before. We caught everything on a 3/8 oz SK football head jig trailed with a sweet beaver in green pumpkin. And 1 fish on a trap style bait. This kid loves to fish and seldom complains. I wish his brother would share the passion and join us, but hopefully he will get the hook before long. If not, we will just have to find his niche and join in. BTW, the yellow thunderbolt is NOT a WM skeet rod hahahaha. I will have to post pics of it later.

I hope to see them on stage like this one day + #4 a fish would make it better

Childhood memories in the making. That's great stuff right there, a day on the water with your boy (not to mention letting HIS buddy come along) is precious beyond words.

Maybe he learned some of those techniques from that flipsta' Joedog...

Thanks for the comments fellas. We have some good times in the boat. It has got to where I can't tell him I am going if he isn't going with me. He gives me the cold shoulder for a little while.
