As always, I don't stand a chance either. Not sure how people will feel about it though.

I'm looking forward to it again this year. Anybody know what types of rods the winners ordered? And we need to see pics.

Walker and I are still working out the details on my rod. He is backed up until mid February then I believe he said he would be able to get started on mine. You can rest assured that I will post pics when I get it.

I would love to play, but even if I were as skillful a fisherman as I want to be, I just don't stand a chance, living in SW Indiana.

I wouldn't mind to throw my hat (and money) in. C-rig is in my state, though....that poses a problem for my chances!

Hey a thought here. What if someone visits another state to try if their state record is insurmountable. Might get more to enter. You can inform you are going to another state for whatever length of time. It must be a state abutted to your state. Must be approved by everybody who is participating. Just a few ideas. What do you guys think?

We did that last year, just had to let one of the judges know where you were going before you went.

Funny never saw had to inform as did put in for sc,georgia, bama, miss,tn and ky wondered why never got a responce or laugh. It was the pursuit of not catching and in that quest caught some of my largest non target species like drum and grass pike.
Got a whole 5 hrs on that outboard last year, wife coming home soon so may get out a few more trips than last.
I regularly fish 2 states up north here as ky lake spans 2,and 3 states down south as pickwick spans 3.Have nonresident lic in 3 normally and a resident in a 4th as while agreements in place one doesnt wonder if they crossed the dotted line out on the lake.

There were a couple of guys who let me know they were going to be fishing out of state last year. As long as you said something before your out of state trip, it wasn't a problem.

You don't think I would catch a 6lb brownie out of Dale and keep it alive all the way to Brookville so I could get a picture by the bridge with it, do ya?

No. I don't think you would catch a 6 pound brownie.

I'm in, I reckon. How much is it? We did $20 last year, right?

Don't know if I'd do it this year with the little guy now. I've only been out once this year and it's probably not going to get much better this year. I'd more than likely really just be donating my money.

Even if you only fish 3 or 4 times the rest of the year, my money would still be on you to catch a bigger percentage bass than anything I'll catch this year!
