I live in South Eastern Illinois. They are off the points this week I think. Nice and deep. Caught this fellow on a rubber bait, bounced slowly across the bottom.

Last two days has been crap fishin...Haven't been able to make it back to that lake. Been settlin for the second rate fishin holes. Couldn't even get a catfish last night......and my buddy who doesn't drink slammed our entire 18 pack in 45 minutes...I only got 6..and that is cause I hid them from him...got to beat his *** in bloody knuckles though..hahah...poor drunk basta....

Thanks....again a bad time fishin this mornin...only caught one at a favorite private lake that usually gives up fish like the above pictured on the first cast.....had to wade out into the water to get the 2 lb fish as well...knew I shouldn't have driven old ladies car, she gonna be pissed when she wakes up and sees it all dirty....wish I didn't hate cleaning so I could avoid the iminent danger.

Hahahah.......you think thats a nice fish just wait for later when i get the picture of my buddies catch yesterday! I was having mad trouble hooking fish yesterday at that lake....probly missed 30 lbs of bass.....kept setting the hook to late or NOT AT ALL! I was in dumb mode or something yesterday....pissed me off. Fished a total of 12 hours and only landed 3 2 lb bass.

And yeah Denny.....I doubt he ever does it again. What i find hard to believe about it is the guy NEVER drinks...he is lucky he is 6'3"....probly woulda got poisened.
