My brother just got a job in Mooresville and is wondering how the fishing is down there. He just returned from nearly 3 years in the Peace Corps in the Phillipines and has been living with the family in Ohio. I see that it is a huge lake, just wondering if there are huge fish to go with it.

norman is and awesone spotted bass fishery the state record spot was caught from it. norman is massive for. it is not uncommon to have to run 15 miles between fishing spots. i don't care for fishing norman unless it is cold november to march. the hot holes are some thing else. but one thing your map don't show is the huge yahts that run around on this lake i have seen some well over 100 feet long that is throwing up a 5-8 foot wave. ask zilla about being swamped it aint fun no way no how..
