Retie your mono leader..........
If you are like me and love the sensitivity of braid and use a mono leader in clear water I have a little tip for you. Retie your leader everyso often especialy if you have been using heavy lures and have caught several fish. The other day I went to cast a rat-l-trap and my leader snapped off and my lure went flying. Kinda like when you catch a fish or are fishing heavy cover with mono. Check the knot every now and then to make sure its not slipping or if its not breaking.
