Man talk about some tough fishing conditions today. We set out ready for the 60 degree weather with some white spinngerbaits and some
rogues, but got our hopes shot down after seeing crystal clear water up to 9 feet and no fish of any kind. I figured that the bass were either tucked up in the reeds in 1 ft of water or laying in the dying vegetation warming themselves in the sun, we tried lots of plastics to penetrate areas but Nothing! Fall fishing? bleah... I'll take spring anytime. What really killed us today was the barometric pressure is HIGH and no clouds at all, got down to 28 this morning and by mid day was mid 50's.. |

Went out today also and it was tough. Managed to catch 4 little ones on cranks in the mornig. Later with extremley clear shallow water it was impossible.
