Great day on the water
I had one of the most enjoyable days I have had this year, yesterday. I was on the water from 9:30 until dark. The high was 39 and it was 19 when I put in. I fished a 1/8 oz hair jig with a small pork chunk all day. I only caught 7 all were largemouth(I was fishing for smallmouth)and none were over 14 inches long. I only saw 3 other boats all day.
Was it a great day of fishing, no. Was it a great day on the water yes. Days like that give a man time to reflect and take in all that nature has to offer. By the way I was on Norris. The water was crystal clear and 55 degrees. The sky was blue bird clear and there was nearly no wind most of the day.The worst fishing conditions you can get but man was it a great day. Fish2win

Buck tail died black with a black powder coat head. I use either a brown or black chunk. 1/8 to 1/4 oz. They would have most likley hit a FnF yesterday but I was so into the solitude that i rally ididnt care if i caught anything or not. It was cold but I am used to it.I fish 12 months and have for years. Fish2win
