Does anyone crappie or pan fish. If so what do y'all use? I have some maribou jigs, small plastic worms on jig heads, and some paddletail flukes (small).
Thanks for y'alls help! Chris |

I use a #6 hook and wax worm for gills, or a small 1/32 ounce pink or white or green teardrop shaped jig tipped with wax worm.
For crappie is use the gold#2 hook and a minnow or use a 1/32 pearl white jig, or orange, or just use a 2 inch twister tail for either. |

Chris,
I never really got into artificial panfishing. I normally panfish maybe 2 or 3 times a summer. Anyways, I just take a small hook, I like the circle or arberdeen. Then a nightcrawler or minnow. I use a light action 6 ft spinning rod wiht 4 or 6lb test. Sometimes a split shot, I like to let it flutter down, or I will suspend it with a bobber. Panfish are a great way to relax from basin for a while.

Yeah thought I would give bassin' a rest for a while. Or at least till it warms up and I can figure them out again.
