heading out to meet up with huck finn.him and i are going to try to catch some cold water basses.water temp is around 35-36..there was ice on the lake yesterday morning.
if we can't get any bass we'll just try for some perch and crappie.
temps are supposed to be in high 40's or 50's today.we'll see what happens.

water temp was 36 degrees..gin clear water.very windy and overcast.cold as a witch's heart air temps.i hung one on a silver buddy deep(18ft) over a nice weed bed but it got off.that's it.there was 2 other boats out there trolling for lakers but they lost their nads and quit after a short time.huck and i hung in there as long as we could.

this was before the wind kicked up

merrill creek reservoir,electric only...home of the notorious and much talked about bass boat races..just down the road from my house..warren county.
