First time out...
Went out for the first time this year, and it sucked. Went out to Lake Blackshear this weekend, and when I got to the lake. It opened up and rained like hail. Then got the boat to the water, and it wouldn't start. By the time I got everything going, fished for a couple of hours, and then as I was bringing the trailer down to bring the boat in....the front controls on the boat caught on fire. And I didn't catch anyfish.

WOW, sorry about the problems, I've had some bad days, but never caught on fire, at least there was water close by.

My Dad tells a story about his brother from the 70s....
They were fishing Lake Kissimmee on the front of sturm island...and anybody whose ever fished down there knows about the bugs that swarm around the grass beds - no-bite mosquitos or whatever you wanna call them.... Well my uncle apparently doesn't like bugs and panicked when he got in a swarm of them. Somehow with all the commotion he was causing he set the flasher on fire and dropped Dads setup into the lake - Garcia 5000 C on a Shakespeare wonderrod. I don't think Dad ever forgave him.
