More women in the sport - might be a good thing - more people, well I'm beginning to wonder.

Why dont they just not have a seperate league and just let them compete in BASS and FLW events? It doesnt realy matter what gender you are at all, just if you can catch fish.

You guys crack me up!!! I fish for fun and enjoyment not to compete!! I can fish, WTL, and I sure don't worry about you or anyone else outfishing me. I break nails all the time, i could care less, they grow back. I do tan while if fish, but fishing is 1st.

My girls fish also, my 12 yoa daughter has caught bass, crappie and catfish, tuna, red snapper and a few other odd fish (bank and surf fishing on the coast) that a few of you have never caught. She brought in a 19 lb Blackfin Tuna when she was 10 yoa.

Maybe, some girls dont like to fish, but there are some men out there that couldn't fish to save their life also.

Sandra, I think you knew I was joking. But I don't think that there should be a seperate league or whatever for women, they shouldn't need one.

Quite frankly im a bass fisherman and dont give a crap about catching any red fin tuna

Women can be just as good as men when it comes to fishing they should compete in BASS not a seperate league they dont need it because the bassmasters shouldnt be just for men

Just a thought: women can compete with the men as far as fishing goes, we have many women here on the west coast that are very good sticks, and more power to them. If they open up a womens tour great, but they hang pretty well with the guys out here and they have my full respect. Scott R

My $.02 worth on this subject is as follows:

If the ladies who WANT a seperate fishing platform can get one and can get it to support itself, then why not?

I do think the women who WANT to compete with the men and can do so, then more power to them.

I know there are very many opportunities for us guys to fish at all different levels when it comes to bass fishing, so a few more choices for the ladies can't hurt.

let the women fish, as long as they wear something that allows them to get a nice tan! Id rather watch a hottie fish any day!
