Bassintom is correct. South Bend is entry level equipment. I have a lot of their stuff at the store. Many items are cheap and that is how well they last. Terminal tackle is around 99 cents for snaps and swivels, hooks are about 3 buckets for 50 or 60 but they bend.
Most of their stuff is good for trout and anglers just starting out in fishing. Also good for a person on vacation and wants to go fishing. Buy this stuff for a day of fishing and if it breaks through it away.

Yep-entry level stuff. Nothing wrong with it-just not the quality stuff most of us want to use.

Academy is having a Fishing Extravaganza this weekend if I read the ad right-might be some good deals.
