Ran into a school of Gizzard Shad early in the morning ...
couldn't catch anything else, just about every cast you would snag into one of these. This one weighed 1 pound and was just over 14 inches.

i couldnt help but notice that swivel, try once without one, your lure should have much better action, and you may even catch more fish!

Hope you didn' throw them back. Gizzard shad are worse than snakefish IMO. The swivels work just fine for me. Actually I use a Duo-lock, don't ever come unbuttoned.

Gizzard shad uses:
1) fertilizer 2) fish food 3) crab bait 4) fertilizer Yeah, I threw all of them back.
