Have you ever been syked to fish a spot all day and finally you get the chance to go hit it and you pull up to the spot and there are people in the spot catfishing? man this has happend to me so much... it sucks because THEY DONT MOVE they just set there with their lines zig zaggin all over the place it sucks! next time im just going to go down and start casting between their lines they may get pissed and knock the **** out of me but ohwell im holding my ground as a bass fisherman! catfisherman take up to much space!!!!!!!

In other story there is this carp/cat fisherman at the lake here in town and he keeps pulling in all the brush int he water so he can fish ITS PISSING ME OFF i keep throwing it back in but he keeps pulling it back out...!

well, its whoever gets there first...........what you have to do is get there before they do....if they get there before you do, then well, not much you can do about it........

Rat-l, I understand your frustration-but that's part of fishing. Get out there earlier. Nobody "owns" a spot on the water. How would you feel if you were fishing the spot, and someone came in and did what you suggest doing? Just because they're fishing cats and you're after bass doesn't give you any more right to a spot than them. I guarantee that isn't the only spot on the lake you can get bit. If they're anchored down, you can work around them as long as you stay a little more than a long cast away from them. I guarantee you though, if someone came in and did what you suggest doing-things would be ugly in a hurry.

Ya oughta see it on the ohio river, the catfish heaven around these parts, you'll be working a row of docks from one of the creeks, and everynow and then you find a long dock with catfish poles and also line in the water, you about have to go way around or get line tangled in your prop
