Caught my first bass today
With everyones advice i caught my first bass today after work, i was using a live minnow, in the pond i was fishing was very scummy looking so i did not know what to use, but finally one hit and i caught it 2 pounds, not bad i didnt think.

Good job, i remember my first bass. While waighting for my dad to come unhook a deeply hooked perch, I put it in the water for it to have a better chance for survival. Suddenly, a 3lb bass swallows it, It was so close I just hoisted it up, and the line snapped. Still grabbed him though.

2 lbs is great for a first bass! In fact, any size is great for a first bass!
 Congratulations, it feels great, doesn't it? It might be a few more days before bass #2, then 3, 4, etc, but as you get experienced, they tend to come in faster.
