I have seen these before and they work pretty good. I would get one if you want to try fishing with bait.
You also sometimes get small bass with them

Good for catching shad as catfish bait and catching mullet and greenbacks for inshore. Plus you can just mess around and have fun with them so its worth it. I'd suggest saving up about$50 and get a new rod and reel first.

Get one........... But STAY AWAY FROM ROCKS AND STUMPS AND TREES AND STUFF......... I put a big hole in one of mine on a rock once........ Sometimes you can catch enough shad and minnows to start a bait shop.... Have fun and catch some biggens........

Okay, for a free minnow trap, take a 2 liter bottle, cut the top off 1/3 off the way down. Flip it, shove it down into the bottom like a funnel, shove some rocks and bread in it, tie a line to it, and toss it into the water.
