So Friday I take out two gents for LGMouth and one wants to learn flipping and the other is fly only. That is not possible so I managed to get the bait casting guy to use a spinning reel. Any way fishing was OK with maybe 7 fish caught due to high skies and lack of clouds. Tide was right and water slightly stained so we had that going. But fish would follow lures only a foot or so and drift off. Slow movement of fly was the ticket for the few we caught. I guess about seven boated. Here is Andy with his elephant gun and a buck bass.

Fished the Potomac both Sat. and Sun. We did ok weighing in combined 7 fish on Sat. and 6 fish on Sun. Took us a while to figure things out on Sat. No topwater or Horney Toad bites at all. Got into some pads and pulled out one keeper on a floating worm. Caught the rest on creek channel drop offs, wood and grass on Hogs. Main river grass beds and grass beds in general didn't do anything for us. Things will get back to normal this week.
