i am runnin out of room for all my stuff!!! the effect is setting in. im gunna have to start using the spare bedroom. ;D and with me spendin some b-day money in bps(a cool 125 was spent) i have more to store. its not a problem tho, i will be using all of it ;D today i bought some kinami nories bugs, spike it in chartruese, new polerized sunglasses, a new fishin shirt( the kind that is vented) new water/boat/shore shoes, a 5/8 oz jitterbug(all black of coarse), and a titanium fishing tool set. comes with good pair of pliers, a hook sharpener, and a small light that clips on your hat, or belt, and it is adjustable. i still have $190 bucks, im all set 8)

Wait till you start fishing tournements, it always seems that you never have enough, My roommates get mad cause I use the hallway closet to keep my fishing stuff in and I still need more room

Ah.....thats where this happens.....I let the bait money take over my life...well she aint so happy....then that leads to bad things....lmao...she dont like fishing.....fish scare her to death.....she's one of those girly girls that doesnt like anything except shopping. Trust me....its a damn miracle i spent it on myself.

I know what ya mean, seems like the money doesn't go very far in bass fishing. My girlfriend gets mad about all the money I spend on deer season, she would have a heart attack if she knew how much money in tackle and rods I have. But she doesn't know, so I'm good for awhile.

its got me bad, spending money on rigs, tackle, misc boat expenses, jeep, and recovery equipment for those times I get stuck getting to the BEST fishing holes possible without a boat! Lot of people think a record bass will come outta the Ocala National Forest over the next few years.........................on the end of my pole ;D

Fortunately, I have a pretty tight handle on the bait monkey most of the time. My WIFE, however, does not. Last February we were leaving the BPS in Dallas. I had been looking at the boats while we were in there. On the way home she says "we can turn around and get that 911 right now." We were in her car and unable to get it home if we bought it, so cooler heads prevailed. Of course a week later I was at the local Nitro dealer ordering my boat because she wouldn't let it go. A guy can only fight the bait monkey's older brother, the boat monkey, for so long.

Buying gear is rough there is always something else. Went today and dropped a cool $600 on a shimano calcutta and Graphite USA rod. Can't do that very often or I will run myself into the poorhouse.

I'm lucky if i can get in and out of a tackle store without spending 100+ dollars on any given trip. Darn good thing there is no BPS here. I have a fish off in vegas in october i plan to take an extra half a day to go to the new Bps out there when we arrive. wife better hope we dont win the 30,000 I'd hate to spend my half at bps and come home broke. ;D Scott R
