I couldn't find your parents, but it was a cool site, and it's pretty sweet that y'all build bikes.

Indian Larry was one of the best bike builders since the show started. God may have taken him from us, but he will never be forgotten for the great person as well as the bike buider he was.I did see the show last night.Bear Choppers has unlimited supplies of parts and equipment.I don't think that is what a bike buildoff should be about. Indian Larry died putting on a show for the people at a bike build off last year. He stood on the seat while riding and lost his balance and crashed. He died late at night in the hospital. His bike won the bike build off the next day, but there wasn't much to celebrate about. Indian Larry built bikes, not just assemble them from prefabbed parts. I seen the show with Big Bear Chopper and the 2 Ivys from Lousiana. It was cool that the Ivy's still put a decent bike together even though Katrina had ruined the majority of their equipment. They put alot of heart in their bike even though it was out voted.Big Bear is too big a business to be put in a bike buildoff. Put him against OCC for a bike build off. they are on the same level, let the bike buildoff be for the smaller guys who build bikes from scratch, not just assemble a bike from a huge inventory of custom parts. Big bear chopper's makes or else order's all those part's just like everyone esle does. And Ivy had a bigger business them big bear chopper's did so it was an even match. He was one of the first big chooper builder's ever it was him and Jesse james and that was it. So I don't see how big big bear chopper's had an advantage other then a few more worker's and a bigger shop.

If your gonna build a bike, build a Harley. Not a kit, or a S/S motor. Build a real Harley, A Panhead, Shovelhead or Knucklehead. Not a Evo or a copy of an Evo! Oh, V-rod is outa the question! I rode the best, 1977 1200cc Shovelhead. She was a flame throwin',noise makin',low ridin' hunk oh metal. I was at the "ride to the wall" In DC a couple of years back. I was in a sea of customs and 2 photographers for some book asked all these guys to move the customs to get photo's of my Harley. Man was I proud!

Harley's are trouble, all they do is break down.
