New to the Forum!

Hey,
Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone here.

I've been fishing all my life, but a few years ago I moved to Virginia and now I live right close to Lake Anna. Last year my dad bought a Gambler bass boat. Since then, I have REALLY gotten into bass fishing. Since I've started fishing, I joined the Angler's Club at my high school, and took first place in a tournament this past weekend, with 8lbs. 6oz. total weight.

I know that the Big 10 Conference has fishing tournaments for the schools that have clubs. It's pretty big at Purdue here in Indiana and I'm sure that other colleges around the country have them as well. What a novel idea! Go to school to get an education and in your free time do something that you love! Who knows, maybe there are scholarships out there for bass fisherman!

my bass club offers scholarships money.but only to N.J. students entering their 1st year of college.and they have to write an essay.
