Default tuckertown9-9-06

it was a touch foggy this morning..the bank is 100 yards away the dark strip is trees.

water was 80 degrees and clear the lake was down 2+ feet-which is a lot for t-town- ran up lake caught 2 fish one on a worm one on a crank bait both shorts.

fished the stump flat at flat creek caught keeper on the out side drop off on a shallow crank bait.

at newsome i caught a short on the sleeper rig-6" lizard- and i got this one in the flood trash cove. on a stien in the hydrilla coated flood trash

i am still wondering about this one..

ran into the guy i partnered with on tillery during the 6-man fed tourny.-at least he got new carpet lol- caught a keeper on a 3/8oz pnj in the main lake in 12 feet of water after i cranked it to a froth-it is a rock pile-..

Now,THAT fish looks like it has just spawned. Lower part of the tail is cut up (actually missing) and the fish is flat.
Man, it's almost fall, what gives ?
Seems like alot of fish (around here) have these same characteristics. Are they trying to spawn ? Seems like the "fry" would die due to the water temps dropping. But what do I know ?

i don't see how the fry would die from the dropping water temps as it is still above 50 degrees well into nov.

Was no better at Tillery. Had one competitor go to one my first spots and he caught 3 good keepers in appx 5 mins. on a C-rig.
When the fog burned off I ran up there. No fish left to catch in that location.
