Default Heaven At Bass Pro!!

me and fishinfortune just got back from the grand opening at bass pro in san antonio. Well, ill go ahead and skip to the good part. the autograph line was curved all the way along the store, and it woulda tok hours to get to the pros and celebs. well, me and conor just went to the rope, shouted, JIMMY, JIMMY, and jimmy houston let us come over and get everyones autograph! we skiped hundreds of people, and got our pictures with him. we alsogot rick clunns, chris daves, Johhny morris, wally marsha to name a few!! rick clunn and jimmy houston were really nice, and it was great. we may go back tomorow to say hi again. it was just a fun trip!!

reb or flyrod, were you able to make it?

Nope, and I'm going to wait a while. Don't want to fight the crowds. At least that in my intention .

I could spend days at Bass Pro. My fiance has to go with me so I don't max out a few credit cards. LOL!

We get our new Bass Pro in about 4 months, and I cannot wait!!! But I think I'll give it a couple weeks for the crowds to thin a tad before heading in there. Now where did I put that winning lottery ticket??? hmmmmmmmm

I was in SA 2 months ago and it didn't even look close. I can't believe it is already open. Is it as big as the dallas one or is it smaller? I love that place! I usually have to just bring cash or my checking account is gone!!

Where exactly are you talking about, and is there just wisps of guessing or is there something on the table for it I would really hate to have that happen.

I went to the new BPS last Friday to get some outboard oil that was on sale, for a friend who is recovering from surgery and couldn't make the trip. No problems.
Went back today 'cause I wanted a very few items and, as is my luck, they had about half what I wanted. I can't understand why the only shaky head jigs they choose to carry are semi-pure crap. I'll have to modify them to suit the mission.
Of course, even though it's a school day, two little girls of caramel hue were tearing up the lipless crank display. They tried to crawl UNDER the bottom row of pegs, knocking lures off onto the floor. Dear old Dad, Eusebio "El Pendejo" (see: Idiot) Guzman III, just went about his search for lures in his favorite colors, Pinata Purple, Feefty-Seex Chebby Red, and Refried Bean/Green Flake and left the mess as was. Hey, who knew that Carp would hit lures?
I picked up the &^$%! lures and knelt, squinting at the tiny labels on the lures and pegs, until I'd replaced them.
If you think that was kewl, you oughta see 'em clambering, unsupervised, all over the boats.
Man! You'd think they'd be content with trashing WalMart.
I swear, if I ever again have more than two pesos to rub together, I'm leaving this Third World once proudly called Texas! Maybe I can find some remote hamlet in Upper Southern Eastern Lower Northern Western Idaho where only English (with a little German for flavor,) is spoken.
I'm gonna buy a little patch, run for county sheriff, win, then hire former East German Border Guards to man the boundaries.
Ahhhhh...just imagine...."Press Ein for German", "Press Dos (so we can trace the call and get a fix on your position) para espanol."
Alpha Battery! Fire Mission!

Give us, this day, our daily rant.
